Sample Submission
Normal sample drop-off hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm. Alternative drop off times can easily be scheduled if needed. Samples should be submitted with detailed identification using our Analysis Request Form. If this is not convenient, your company letterhead or purchase order may also be used. Please contact us should you need help determining what test or tests fit your needs.
Samples submitted for Microbiology should be received by PAL within 24-48 hours of sampling and should represent the state at which you wish the product to be tested (keep frozen or refrigerated product in a frozen or refrigerated state; product stored at room temperature keep room temperature). Dry ice and/or cooler packs are recommended for shipping when possible. Please Note: Ice is not recommended for packing as any melt water formed can jeopardize the integrity of both sample and result. In some circumstances, PAL can return coolers (Please inquire prior to shipping).
